About the Artist

I grew up in Parkersburg, West Virginia, where I began private art lessons at the age of ten, with portrait artist Dorothy Horne Decker. I later received a BFA in painting from Ohio University. I’ve lived and worked in several states in the Mid-Atlantic region before moving to Aberdeen, SD, in September 1993.

I have exhibited widely in the region - most recently at the Dacotah Prairie Museum in Aberdeen, SD, the Taube Museum in Minot, ND and the Washington Pavilion Visual Arts Center, Sioux Falls, SD.
