This Saggar fired vessel is the first of a new line of work, and although it's not a food safe item, it carries itself very well in the art world.There is no glaze on this pot, it's all in the technique of firing. That with terra sig, burnishing, ferric chloride and sugar for a good measure. |

After this piece traveled with the SD Governor's Show over the past 2 years, it was purchased by the Director of the South Dakota Art Museum in Brookings. |
