Interesting effect with the plant life burned into the vessel. The green tinge at the top was unexpected as the pinkish lower area. It's always a serendipitous affair. |

My very first Saggar fired pot! I uttered a potty word after firing when I attempted to spray a clear coat over the piece for additional shine, and instead grabbed a can of spray glue. Hence, I should name it "heart attack" or something similar in mood changer. The plant life was something foolish enough to be growing next to my outdoor raku kilns....I grabbed it. |

This vessel shows some interesting patterns with the ferric chloride chemical leaving reddish markings in varied places around the pot. The white specks are the results of my dropping "sugar" to the above chemistry and seeing what would happen. |

Yes indeed, yet another Saggar fired pot. Notice the variation in colors when comparing to other Saggar fired pots on this page. Sometimes you get red, sometimes you don't. |
